Even though I surround myself with positive energy in friends and colleagues, those doubts file in, especially in the dark of night or when I look too closely at the ever dwindling numbers in my bank account!
Having the day off from BOLD, I decided to have breakfast at TJ’s Kitchen (great breakfast deals) in Beech Grove before attending a Power Circle Networking group that meets there on Thursday’s at 9:00 a.m.. I was seated in a booth, asked for coffee and reached for the sugar and there it was…a quote on the wall of the booth…

I was amazed! Just when I needed a reminder…there it was.
My day continued and I still fought those feelings of doubt, but the quote stayed with me…I went to another networking meeting with my fellow Keller Williams agent Jill Hutchinson, then on to the office, helping a few newer agents with scheduling a showing and a Comparative Market Analysis for a listing appointment. As hard as I tried, I could not move past those feelings completely, deciding to work from home the rest of the day, I packed up and left, spent the rest of the afternoon going through email and organizing my thoughts and lists to start today in a better place.
And I have! In addition to a referral earlier in the week from my friends at Jay-Troy Septic that has resulted in a new listing (active in 2 weeks, stay tuned!), I received another referral today from Don Allen at
US Savings Bank and have a listing appointment on Monday!
What I really want to share is that when things feel off, and you feel down, take the time you need to get yourself back in focus. I am a great Realtor and I will succeed…I just needed the reminder…
